Carol, known to many as Gram, was sure to brighten anyone and everyone’s day. She gave genuine love in every one of her hugs, and she was always sure to give one. She was a loving wife, and a great mother. She worked 30+ years at Continental ID. She loved to keep everyone warm with one of her hand sewn blankets and quilts. Carol gave back by sewing teddy bears for the Sheriffs Department and Santa Claus Girls. She also loved camping with her family. The annual family camping trip was one of her greatest pleasures.
“Gram, who loved strawberries, was the sweetest pick of our patch.”
She will be missed by many.
There will be a celebration of gram’s life Saturday, October 9 at Lamoreaux Park in Sparta from 2:00-5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pinky's Palace, a non-profit organization providing assistance to Kent County families caring for loved ones with dementia.

A sweeter lady we have never known! Carol was a wonderful person through and through. She loved our dog, even when he would (annoyingly) bark at the campground. She would just laugh and laugh and go pet him, his tails wagging like crazy. Kenna loved to show "Grandma" Carol any rocks or flowers she found at the campground. We hope Jack and the girls find solace in the many many happy memories! Love, Jim, Gina, Kenna and Jax
