Obituary For Hermann Zemke

Hermann Zemke, 82, of Lexington Park MD, (formerly of Sparta MI) passed away peacefully March 9, 2021. He is now at peace and with God and is with his Beloved Wife, Brigitte.
He leaves behind his children, Aino, Torsten & Erik (Tammy), grandchildren Caleb, Kendal (Jamel) & Ryan, as well as his great grandchildren, Roman, Eli, Lincoln & Braden and a host of relatives and friends in Europe and the USA.
Hermann expressed his gratitude for having had a full good life. He felt especially grateful for the love of his life, Brigitte, who passed away in 2001, and his children and grandchildren and great grands.
After his retirement from Tesa Tape Inc., where he was the plant manager, he enjoyed time with his family and friends, his home & garden, sailing his sailboat, travelling, classical music and a variety of hobbies.
He especially loved being involved with the Danish Cultural Center of Greenville MI, which he helped achieve Nonprofit status. The Hermann Zemke Library is named in his honor at the DCCG.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. (1 Thessalonians 4:14)

Your father was one of the sweetest and kindest man I have ever met. I enjoyed working with him and getting to know your family outside of tesa.
