Sharon Ann Lesert, 61, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, received her Angel Wings on July 11, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was an awesome sister, aunt and cousin. Her smile would light up the room and her laugh would make everyone around her laugh has well. Sharon truly loved her lord and lived by his word. If Sharon wasn’t listening to her favorite singer, Donny Osmond, she was watching NASCAR. Sharon resigned at Westwood, Pine Rest Christian Homes in Grand Rapids for many years. She said, “It felt like home” The staff and residences will miss her so much. Many happy, unforgettable memories. There are no words that can express loss of that smile, or the joy she bought to everyone she touched. She will be missed and forever in our hearts. Has been such a long time since we've seen our friend but always loved seeing her smiling face at Mamrelund and at her home. She and Maryann would come driving up in her van on Sunday morn. Always always a wonderful smile. Grand pic on this obit. RIP our friend
Sharon was always a great friend! We have many special memories together. I enjoyed working at Bulman Products with you all those years! Miss your smile and laughter. You will be missed by many!
Aunt Sharon your smile and laughter were so contagious to even to most gloomiest of people. It was also so fun to sit and talk with you especially to see you light up about racing and your "boyfriend" Donnie Osmond. You were also so very good with Darrius when he was a baby when he wanted to play with the wheels of your chair. To see you laugh with him always made me smile! I will miss how full of life and love you were. Love you!
I will always remember Sharon's quick wit and quick humor. We felt grateful to have Sharon as a cousin. What a smile, and what a fun person to be around. To Freddie John, Merry, Jeffery Joe, LoraLee, and all Sharon's nieces and nephews, we wish you all the best. We are out of town currently, so we won't be able to attend the funeral, but we sure hope you are able to celebrate Sharon's life. We will miss her! Maryann Lesert & Greg Lewis
Sharon was one of the first people I've helped taken care of since I started my journey in the health care field. I loved her so much and when I would help her, I put all my love into it. It made me so happy to be at work because I would see her smile so big when she saw me come in. A smile that can light up the darkest room. I can still hear her laugh. I am so lucky to have met Sharon and to have had the opportunity to help Sharon live the best quality life she could have. Sharon left a huge impact on my life and I will always remember her. I loved her so damn much and I know sooooo many people did as well because who could not have loved that feisty spunky woman? My heart hurts so much so I can only imagine the pain her family feels. I send all my love and thoughts to Jeff, Loralee, and the family. Thank you for trusting us to help care for Sharon. I love you girlfriend.
Sharon was a bright spot in a sometime dark world. Her smile and laughter filled up the room.
Aunt Sharon, From the beginning of time in my young child hood I was blessed to spend many a nights with you. Growing up you instilled many important life lessons into me just by being around you and absorbing your love & the positivity you brought to life.. I'll forever cherish our times together and continue to bring them same positive vibes to life that you brought to me.. I love you & miss you, until we meet again.. Pass my love & hugs onto Grandma & Grandpa Lesert for me.. Love You Aunt Sharon.
