Obituary For Walter F. Beuschel
Walter F. Beuschel of Conklin, Michigan, age 90, passed from this life into the arms of his Savior Jesus on Sunday, October 31, 2021, Reformation Sunday. He was born to Martin and Hulda (Burgtorf) Beuschel on January 17, 1931, in Grand Rapids, MI.
Walter graduated from Sparta High School in 1948.
He worked on his family farm all his life and was fortunate to have witnessed many advancements in agriculture throughout his career.
He served his community as a member of numerous boards: the Ottawa County Farm Bureau, Michigan Milk Producers Association, and Chester Township.
Walter’s hobbies included gardening and any kind of home repair. Upon entering retirement, he developed an interest in gourmet cooking and enjoyed planning and preparing meals for his family and friends.
His continuous service and leadership on the Board of Elders and Board of Education at Trinity Lutheran Church spanned his adult years.
Strong roots grow beautiful branches, and Walter’s unwavering faith in God, dedication to his family and a wisdom resulting from a long and active life, will forever be cherished.
Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Noreen (Preston) Beuschel, loving children Timothy (Patrice) Beuschel, David (Deanne) Beuschel, Bryan (Julie) Beuschel, and Janeen (David) Chase. Grandchildren Ryan (Lauren), Christopher, Thomas, Bradley Beuschel; Dana, Emily, and Jenny Beuschel; Mark, Grant (Amanda), and Nathan Beuschel; Nicole (Cody) Nickolaus and Kelley Chase; great grandson Bryce Beuschel. Sister, Elizabeth (Richard) Snowdin, sister-in-law Ann Beuschel, and special friends Leon and Pam Kik. He is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Hulda Beuschel and his brother Robert.
There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1379 Harding St. Conklin, MI 49403. The funeral service for Walter will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Mark Oswald will be officiating. There will also be a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
